Dashlane Statement on Australia’s Pending Encryption-Breaking Legislation

Dashlane is aware of the preliminary actions taken by Australia’s government to require that developers potentially compromise the security of their platforms and users and will be watching its progress closely. While we understand the need for governments to have effective investigative and security procedures in place, the scope and reach of the legislation as proposed should concern anyone that values the right of privacy.
